RED BOWS FOR THE BIRTHDAY GIRL

YAY! My birthday is coming up this Friday & I'm just one of those people who will never ever outgrow the "very special day" feeling you get on this day that marks times passing. & best thing is that I now get to share with my very special & delightful daughter - who is allready practicing the singing of the birthday song every day since tuesday last week.

Friday I will spend with family & loads of cake & saturday I'm going to party all day & hopefully dance all night as I'm spending most of the day with some of the loveliest people in my life & I just can't wait! I haven't planned anything at all & can't wait to see what life brings me for my birthday & I just hope that it will be wrapped up in big, red bows. Bows make everything better n'est-ce pas?

So I tried this one on i H&M's but it looks better of than on - mostly because of the upperpart of the dress - but the skirt OMG soooooo nice though!!

Oh give me the sweetest tattoos...

If only... even though my mom has sworn to disown me if I ever get one... (yes she really did say that) - I still maybe not so secretly fantasize about having my arms and legs covered in the sweetest tattoos that could tell the story of me, my life, my brain and so on.

I haven't yet had the courage - not because of the pain - & no not because of my mom either :-) - but probably because I have too great a fear of regretting it.

Not the best way to live your life to the fullest I guess if you look at it from that angle - but I guess it's beacuse I'm way too sensible & old now to have the excuse of the oh so lovely carefree youth.

Let me indulge in the idea of having one or ten for just a short blogpostal time. If I ever gather the courage I 100 % allready know what the first would be. Can you guess which & where?

SHOP THE PAIN AWAY

I can't really afford it. But I bet you all know the fact that shopping can make you feel better - temporarily of course - but nevertheless - it feels like it's helping.

I bet you've all done it. Gone bonanza & given in to a broken, shattered heart & shopped the pain away. But when you're broke what to do? & if the rain is pouring down & the wind is blowing way too cold for you to even pretend you can shop irl.

Well thank god for internet & because we do some virtual windowshopping. I fill baskets all over the internet with items I don't need, can't afford or just simply long for. But I don't proceed to check out... Do you do it? I find that it sometimes helps as much as real life shopping. & don't you just love how the term filling the basket gives you associations to going to the market - like some unspoiled little red riding hood fair maiden. I filled my virtual basket to the maximum today & I will share some of the wants (irrational, crazy, cosy, sweet, terrible, scary, freaky, childish) with you.

Because today's post is about making my day a little less grey. So excuse the randomness of the pics & just enjoy a glimpse of the pics I've picked up on my many virtual shopping trips.
